Traditional lighting is made, installed and discarded. Shoplight works differently. Every fitting is designed for recovery from day one — returned at end of life, then remade and reused. The material stays in the system. Permanently.

When your store changes, Shoplight collects. Fittings are assessed and returned to the manufacturing loop — reused, remanufactured or recycled. Nothing wasted. No skips. No landfill.

Every biopolymer product we make enters a closed system.
01 DESIGN
Engineered for the end from the beginning.
Every biopolymer product is designed with recovery in mind from day one — not adapted from a legacy aluminium design. Material choice, component geometry and fixing methods are all determined by what happens at end of life, not just what happens at installation.
02 MANUFACTURING
Made in Britain. 3D printed. No overseas supply chain.
Our biopolymer fittings are manufactured in the UK using precision 3D printing. Local production means shorter supply chains, faster turnaround and complete control over material inputs — with no dependence on imported aluminium or long-distance logistics.
03 INSTALL
Performs like conventional lighting. Without the consequences.
Biopolymer fittings are specified and installed in exactly the same way as conventional products. The difference is invisible to the installer and the customer — but significant at the point of recovery. Every fitting installed is registered to the Circu-light system.
04 RECOVER
We buy it back. That’s the commitment.
When a store is refitted or closes, Shoplight arranges collection of the biopolymer fittings. Products are returned to our facility, assessed and graded. This isn’t a goodwill gesture — it’s a contractual part of how Circu-light works.
05 REMAKE
Reused. Remanufactured. Or returned to material.
Depending on condition, recovered fittings are either redeployed directly, remanufactured to a new specification, or processed for material recovery. In every case, the biopolymer material stays in use. The loop closes and starts again.
